So you finally know what you want...But do you have the courage to jump?

So you finally figured out what you want your life to look like. You can see the idea. You can see the end result. You can feel the accomplishment. We all start with some sort of idea right? We have a thought that starts to grow and we spend hours upon hours daydreaming. Then we spend those same hours planning and trying to work out just how to accomplish it in our minds. But what then? As we daydream and plan and think about all the ways this could work and we can do it, how do we transition from thinking to doing? Where do we start?

This is where I have been for as long as I can remember. I have always been masterful at the daydreaming and planning parts but the execution has always escaped me. I have always been able to make plans on how to execute my dreams but I have never put it into action until now. There are tons of reasons but the main one has always been fear. I'm afraid to fail. I'm afraid to look like an idiot if I do fail. No one in my life would judge me if I failed at anything. No one but myself. I believe we are all harder on ourselves than anyone else could ever be. It's terrifying to put yourself out there. So what do you do about it? How do you find the strength to fight through the fear and to trust that we are more than capable of creating and succeeding in our own dreams?

Find a friend. Find a business partner. Find a cheerleader. Everyone needs someone rooting for them. In this endeavor with my blog and brand I have held onto this for years and never done anything with it out of fear. Now, I have started to get my feet wet and I found someone. A wonderful lady who has similar interests to my own and not only that but she has been successful at helping people to reach their goals for years. I came upon her by accident or chance. While we are in the beginning stages of starting to really market this and make this a reality, just meeting her and speaking with her has given me a confidence that I was lacking.

I have a great support group in my friends and family. However, none of them have taken a chance like this and done something completely out of the box. So they can cheer me on but being able to relate to what I'm going through in trying to make it happen is not something they can help with. No matter how hard they try. Meeting this lady fills in that last gap of what I needed personally to be able to run with this. So when you are looking at your dreams and wondering if you will ever get the courage to follow them and really make them happen, find someone. Find someone who has done what you are trying to do or has done something similar. Find that someone that understands what you are trying to do and can help guide you. That person just might be the missing piece that you are needing to take your dreams and run with them. #southernmorningcoffee
